Marija Bajica, PMP Bsc in mathematics

Currently, freelance consultant, project manager and trainer

2002-2017 Member of the Board, CIO, Program manager – ICT and enterprise at Oikon – Institute of Applied Ecology; has over 30 years experience as IT expert, management consultant and project manager and instructor.

 She was responsible for implementing project management principles in Oikon consulting practice and mentoring of Oikon’s project managers. As the Board Advisor she was responsible for the Oikon's ISO 9001, 14001 and BS18001 certification of the Integrated Business Management System. As IT expert and Project manager she lead and/or participated in a number of complex national and international projects  specialising in application of geoinformatics solutions in environment and nature protection.

Before joining Oikon, she was Business development manager, Professional services manager and the principal for ERP in IBM Croatia Global Services consulting practice following a number of years spent in NSW, Australia as IT Security Manager in State Rail of NSW.

Marija is activlely involved in forwarding project management profession as practicioner, tuitor and PMI Croatia Chapter President and member of the Board. 


Alfonso Bucero, MSc, CPS, PMP, PMI-RMP, PfMP, PMI Fellow

Founder and Managing Partner of BUCERO PM Consulting. He managed IIL Spain for almost two years, and he was a Senior Project Manager at Hewlett-Packard Spain (Madrid Office) during thirteen years.

Alfonso is a PMI member, a member of ALI (Asociación de Licenciados, Ingenieros y Doctores en Informática), AEIPRO (IPMA member) and DINTEL’s advisor. Alfonso was the founder, Sponsor and President of PMI Barcelona, Spain Chapter until April 2005, and he is an IPMA Asessor. He was a member of the CoPAT (Congress Project Action Team) of PMI EMEA 2005 Congress in Edinburgh, 2006 PMI EMEA Congress in Madrid, and PMI EMEA Congress in Budapest. He was graduated in The “Leadership Institute Master Class 2007” on October 2007 in Atlanta (PMI Global Congress). He has been the last the President of PMI Madrid Spain Chapter. He was a PMI Component Mentor for Region 8 South during three years, and now he is a PMIEF Engagement Committee Member. He received the PMI Distinguished Contribution Award on October 9th, 2010. He also received the PMI Fellow Award on October 22nd, 2011.

Alfonso has a Computer Science Engineering degree by “Universidad Politécnica (Madrid)”, and now he is finishing his Phd. in “Project Management” at the University of Zaragoza in Spain. He has 27 years of practical experience and twenty two of them in project management worldwide. He has managed and consulted projects in different countries along Europe.

Since 1994, he is a frequent speaker at International PM Congresses and Symposiums. Alfonso has delivered PM training and consulting services in Spain, Mexico, UK, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, Costa Rica, Brazil, USA, and Singapur. As Project Management believer, he defends that Passion, Persistence and Patience as keys for project success.

He authored the book “Dirección de Proyectos, una nueva vision” published by “LITO GRAPO Editors) in IIL Mexico on June 2003. And he is a contributor of Chapter 7 of the book “Creating the Project Office”. Published on February 2003 by Jossey-Bass Editors (San Francisco/California), authored by Robert J. Graham., Paul Dinsmore and Randall L. Englund.

Alfonso co-authored with Randall L. Englund the book “Project Sponsorship” published by Josse- Bass Editors by May 2006. He has authored the book “Today is a Good Day” – Attitudes for achieving project success, published by Multimedia Publishing in Canada on last February 2010.

He has also contributed to some professional magazines in Russia (SOVNET), India (ICFAI), Argentina and Spain. Alfonso co-authored with Randall L. Englund the book “The Complete Project Manager” and “The Complete Project Manager Toolkit” that was published by Management Concepts last March 2012. Alfonso got published a new book: “The Influential Project Manager” on the first quarter of 2014 by CRC Editors in the US. Last October 2015 he published with Randall L. Englund his second edition of the book “Project Sponsorship” through PMI.

Alfonso has published several articles at national and international PM magazines. He is a Contributing editor of PM Network (Crossing Borders), published by the “Project Management Institute”.

Catalin-Teodor Dogaru, MBA, PhD, PMP

Catalin is a trainer, consultant and managing partner at TSP (smartprojects.ro). He is an enthusiast of project, process and program management that constantly seeks out the talent and novelty in this professional domain. LIMC Alumni, MBA and PMP certified, Catalin managed international projects (in Europe, Middle East and Africa), offering, at the same time, dedicated learning sessions that helped growing the project management community. Tihana Dragičević

Tihana Dragičević is an EMCC coach, trainer, mentor, NLP master, graduated teacher and Head Coach in Elevate. She held the Board Member position for three years in Croatian Coaching Association. She has worked in the world's leading companies such as Allianz, Bayer, in national and regional positions of human development. Become a COACH finishing Oxford Coaching Mentoring School and NLP master, gaining a diploma with Richard Bandler.

She has over 10 years of experience in education, more precisely 8 years in coaching and training individuals, companies and NGOs. Regularly holds the Practicing Coaching training in Olde Vechte, Holland.She advocates excellence and believes we are all our own master piece. Agnieszka Gasperini, PMP, PMI Region Mentor

Agnieszka Gasperini is a Project Manager (PMP) with over 18- years experience in multi-international projects and knowledge of 6 languages. 

She is a very active international Speaker, Coach and Trainer. Since 2003 Agnieszka is managing consulting company PMC that serves for international clients in diverse industries. Provide strategic and tactical aid with all aspects of projects including selecting and securing optimal EU assistance programme, Project Management, employee training and development. 

Agnieszka started her business career in Siemens AG in 1999 in IT/Telecom Technical Department. She created brand new culture of professional project managers in Siemens as 1st to pass PMP exam. 

Actually, she is collaborating with international companies like HRC, IIL, PMGS and Practical Thinking Group. Agnieszka is developing her innovative project called “Leader Tango strengths for Life” that connects Leadership skills with Argentinian Tango www.leadertango.com

Vedrana Jelušić Kašić, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)

Director, Regional Head of Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia is responsible for EBRD’s activities in Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia including business development, financing of new projects and policy dialogue encompassing corporate, infrastructure, financial institutions and energy sectors. Prior to the current position, Ms Jelušić Kašić was managing EBRD investments in food, drinks, retail and packaging in CSEE, completing over 40 transactions exceeding EUR 1 bn. Prior business experience was accumulated at Raiffeisen Bank (Zagreb), Merrill Lynch Private Client Group (Boston), the Croatian National Bank and Monte Titoli (Milan).  Jelušić Kašić is a former member of the Supervisory Boards of Croatian Atlantic Grupa, Victoria Grupa (Serbia), Tikveš (FYR Macedonia) and of VF Komerc (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Vedrana Jelušić Kašić joined EBRD London in 1998 as the Analyst for Ukraine, Romania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus and Moldova.

Ms Jelušić Kašić holds a Master’s Degree in International Finance from the Brandeis University, Massachusetts, USA, and BA from the University of Economics in Zagreb. She completed financial coursework at Wirtschaftsuniversität and Institut für Wirtschaftwissenschaften in Vienna and is a holder of the Non-executive Director Diploma by The Financial Times, London, UK.

Tatjana Kotarski, PMP

Master of computer science, PMP certified project and program manager.

Tatjana started professional career in a private IT company where she gained experience in IT implementation and integration projects of ERP and DMS systems in the public and private sector.

Currently, working as a project and program manager and an internal PM coach at Erste Bank Croatia  where she gains experience on projects in the banking industry.

Since 2013, she is the owner of the PMP® certificate, and in the same year she begins to volunteer in the PMI Croatia Chapter, where she is currently in position of Board member for Communications and Web.

She is engaged in promoting the culture of project management through different ways: trainings, seminars, mentoring and writing professional articles, and tries to transfer her dedication and passion for project management to the broader professional community. 

Gordan Kožulj, MBA, PMP

is a former backstroke swimmer from Croatia. During his sporting career, Gordan achieved numerous successes some of them are: US (1998), Europe (2000, 2001, 2002) and World (2000) swimming championship titles, and breaking European (100m backstroke) and World (200m backstroke) short course swimming records. More specifically, at the 2003 World Aquatics Championships he won a silver medal in 200 m backstroke. In 2000 in Athens he became a world champion in 200 m backstroke (short course). In 1999 he won two silver medals at the European Championships in Istanbul, Turkey. Later on, in 2000 and 2002 he became a European champion in 200 m backstroke. Furthermore, Gordan competed in four consecutive Summer Olympics for his native country, starting in Atlanta 1996 and followed by Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.

Academically, he graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, USA, with bachelor in Political economy, and gained MBA (Master of Business Administration) from the Faculty of Business and Economics, at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. Also, Gordana gained knowledge and experience in project management. In fact, he is a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) issued by Project Management Institute (PMI).

Since 2010, as a member of National Council for sport, Gordan is adviser to the Croatian Parliament on sport issues, and acts as an Expert for the European Commission's Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Furthermore, he was a member of the Expert Committee (assembled by the National Agency for Science and Higher Education) for conducting the re-accreditation of higher education institutions (2014). In the period 2009–2012 he volunteered as a General Secretary of the largest Croatian charity foundation “Korak u život” (engl. Step into the life). In 2012/2013 Gordan was the Chairman of the Zagreb-Rijeka Candidacy for the European Universities Games 2016, and after successful bidding he assumed the role of the Vice president of the Organizing Committee(2013–2016).

Mitja Kumar, Deloitte, Partner-in-Charge of Consulting in Adriatic Region and SE Europe

Mitja Kumar is partner in Deloitte Consulting, responsible for Southeast Europe. His main expertise is in advising financial institutions, where he covered topics like strategy, organizational design, risk management, IT strategy, HR policy, efficiency improvement and cost cutting, process redesign, product development and sales push. He worked as a project manager of larger projects in the region and supported other teams as a subject matter expert.

Andreas Madjari, Erste Group

Andreas Madjari, PMP has dedicated more than 15 years now to project management in the financial services industry. Having originally started in software development his professional development extended to software testing and quality management and finally to a dedicated project management role.Through managing his projects he helped deliver software quality enhancements, customer features in banking software, trading system deployment and the organisational implementation of regulatory requirements.


Starting as the classic accidental project manager he has formalized his proven knowledge and successful track record in the profession by certifying as PMP in 2012. As part of the Project Management Governance department in Erste Group he actively supports the success of projects through hands-on support for project management quality improvement and contributions to continuous improvement of the project management methodology as well as providing trainings for project managers within the Group. Since 2013 Andreas is actively contributing as a volunteer in multiple local PMI Chapters.

Branimir Medic, partner architect in de Architekten Cie.

Master of Excellence in Architecture Partner in de Architekten Cie., Amsterdam

Graduated in 1987 at the Faculty of Architecture of Zagreb University, Croatia. After working for several di erent architecture rms, he undertook further study in 1990 at the Berlage Institute, Amsterdam, taking his Master of Excellence in Architecture degree in 1992. Branimir Medić then worked for Kees Christiaanse Architects Planners, Rotterdam, and UN Studio, Amsterdam.

In 1995, together with Pero Puljiz, he established the architecture partnership Medić + Puljiz, with an alliance to de Architekten Cie. After several years of collaboration with this rm, they both joined de Architekten Cie. as partners in 1998. Cie. Croatia (Zagreb) was established in 2004, followed by Cie. Asia (Shanghai) in 2006.

The realized works of Branimir Medić cover all scales and types of buildings, from single-family houses to masterplanning. Most recently, the public swimming pool in the north of Amsterdam was inaugu- rated (2015) as well as the redevelopment of the o ce building “Nieuw Amsterdam”. A prestigious 130 meters tall o ce building, FIRST Rotterdam, is momentarily under construction. Abroad, large commis- sions such as the Bundek Centre in Zagreb, Croatia, and the Dadong Arts Centre of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, have successfully been completed (both in 2012). Currently, Medić is working on several commissions in Holland and abroad, among others masterplans for new urban developments in Moscow, such as Vlashika, Rubleskoye and MO City.

Branimir Medić won the Dutch Prix de Rome (1st prize, 1995). In collaboration with Pero Puljiz, he won several prestigious rst prizes, such as the competitions for the Cultural/Administrative Complex in Montreal, Canada (2003), the extension of the Victoria Palace government building in Bucharest, Romania (2007), and the Quixing District Urban Planning Museum of Tianjin, China (2008). They were nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award twice as well as numerous times for the National Dutch Building of the Year Award.

Branimir Medić has lectured at the Academies of Architecture in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Tilburg, as well as at Delft University of Technology. In 2008, he was a Visiting Professor at the Berlage Institute, Rotterdam, in connection with the international competition for a master plan for the Saemangeum Region, South Korea. In 2010 he was a Visiting Professor at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and is currently Visiting Professor at the Technical University of Turin, Italy.

Marina Pupić-Bakrač, PMP

PMP® certified with over 15 years of experience in running projects related to product development and process optimization in insurance industry.

Zijah A. Sokolović, glumac i režiser

Osnivač Thearto EU projekta u Salzburgu i Zagrebu, Ambasador dobre volje UNDP-a, bio profesor Glume na Bruckner univerzitetu i Linzu i Akademiji Umjetnosti u Osijeku, gostujući profesor doktorskih studija akademije Umjetnosti u Beogradu. Henrik Stadler, Msc, PMP, PMI-ACP

Henrik is a senior consultant and have worked within project management for more than 30 years. His experience covers various industries like IT, Media, Retail, Construction, Finance and Governement. Henrik has also been acting as CIO for many years and likes to have different assignements that makes him think about projects from many different angles. He has also been involved with PMI as a volunteer for over 7 years and feels that it gives him a chance to give back to the community as well as developing it.

Sanja Georgina Stropnik, PMP

Director of Organization and Project Management Office in Croatian Postal Bank (2015 – present), responsible for Change Management, Process and Organization improvements management, Project management and PMO. President of the Change management Board of the Bank. Project management Trainer and Coach.

Sanja Georgina started her professional career in 2002. in Erste Bank Croatia Retail Product Management. Being part of local and Group projects for Retail, in 2007 joins Org and PMO Department, where she starts enforcing establishment and profesionalization of Project Management and the role of Project managers, as well as the PMO. Helping in creation of Erste Group PM curriculum, she was part of 1st generation graduates of EG PM Advance programm and PM Trainer and Coaching programm.

Recognizing interdependence of the role of Business Analyst and Project Manager, Sanja was also a Servant Leader of EG BA Initative introducing BA practice based on BABOOK in Erste Group.

In more then 12 years of project management experiance in successfuly managing complex local and cross-border projects, such as core banking implementations and migration projects, card migration, business process and product improvments projects as well as organizational changes projects, she was spreading the vision mission of project managers role with emphasis on collaboration with project sponsor and stakeholders. Sanja is also practitioner of the Art of Hosting, facilitation methods with focus on dialog and participatory leadership approach in life and work.

As a volunteer in PMI Croatia, Sanja is this year's coordinator for the Project of The Year Award.

Željko Trogrlić, Software Architect and Scrum Master

started to apply agile principles 10 years ago, out of a need to find the more natural process for software development.

Although he is primarily a software architect, he does not stray of other means of software production improvements. As a member of Agile Board in Fortune Global 500 company division, he participated in internal agile process definition and held workshops internationally. Coaching the Agile teams for many years, he always tries to emphasize that agile methodologies are less about the process and more about the people.

In his spare time, he gives and organizes presentations as a part of Osijek Software City Code Camp initiative.

He is currently working as a team leader and software architect in the OG Consultancy Services.
