We inform you that ZIH will soon organize a Project Management academy as part of its educational activities. Project management is extremely important because it has a positive impact on business companies, the achievement of goals and the effectiveness of the projects themselves.

The imperative of every organization should be a certified project manager, and this training will help
you achieve that goal and prepare for taking the PMP exam. The planned start of education (PM Academy) is September 19, 2022.

The lectures will be divided into 9 modules, and the education is conducted in accordance with PMBoK and includes guidelines for agile project management. Upon completion of this academy, participants receive 36 PDU points that they can use to apply for the PMP exam.

The lecturer at ZIH's academy will be Ph.D. Silvana Tomić Rotim, who was a Board member of PMI Croatia for many years and is one of the leading experts in project management.

More about the lecturer:

Ph.D. Silvana Tomić Rotim, PMP, received her doctorate at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb, in 2011, completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, in 2000, and management studies organized by FER, the Faculty of Economics and the Institute of Economics, in 1997. years. She graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in 1995. She completed a management study program at the University of Central Lancashire. In OWZ Germany, she completed a one-year education for management coaches.

She has more than 20 years of rich work experience in managing projects and providing consulting and educational services for the public and private sectors, in Croatia and abroad. For the last 15 years, she has been working in project management, risk management, information security and ensuring business continuity fields. She managed more than 50 different projects, including international and EU projects. She has conducted a large number of risk assessments and business and information system compliance assessments requirements of international standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 22301, CobIT, etc.).
She held over 100 seminars in the field of project management, risk management, information security management, business continuity management, etc. For several years she was a member of the Executive Board of PMI Croatia.

She is the author of more than 30 professional and scientific papers as well as several internal scripts and books in the mentioned fields. She holds the following certificates: PMP - Project Management Professional, Certified Management Trainer, CMC - Certified Management Consultant, Certified Data Protection Officer, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor for information security, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer for information security, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor for business continuity assurance, CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Lead Cybersecurity Manager, Certified Lead Pen Test Professional, Certified Lead Forensics Examiner, ISO 24762 ICT Disaster Recovery Manager and others.
