1. Who is the manager of personal data processing?

PMI Hrvatska is the manager of the processing of your personal data as prescribed by the law and regulations on the protection of personal data. PMI Croatia, as the manager of personal data processing, determines the purpose and means of personal data processing and is responsible for the storage and use of personal data in paper or electronic form.

In accordance with the relevant regulations, PMI Hrvatska has appointed a Personal Data Protection Officer whom you can contact regarding all issues related to the processing of your personal data or the exercise of your rights to the protection of personal data. 3. What type of personal data do we collect?

The personal data we collect is your name, surname and email, and we collect them based on your consent. Only members of the executive board of our Association have access to your data, and any contact with your request will be permanently deleted from the database.

 

4. How will we collect and use your personal data?

We collect personal data primarily for the purpose of providing services and responding to your inquiry as efficiently as possible.

We do not sell, transfer or disclose the data we collect on our websites to anyone, except:

  • in cases where it is necessary to fulfil our legal obligations
  • in cases where it is necessary to protect your life or physical integrity, and you are unable to give your consent to the processing of your personal data
  • in cases where it is necessary for the fulfilment of tasks performed in the public interest.

 

The protection of the privacy of your data is permanent, and at any time you can request the deletion of your personal data through the links found within each communication or by sending a direct request. The personal data of the processing subject are deleted immediately upon his request, and no later than within one month of receiving the request. The processing subject is informed via e-mail about the deletion within one month of receiving his request.

After withdrawing your consent, we will use your data exclusively for the purpose of internal statistical data processing and they will be completely anonymized.

During the defined time of keeping personal data in our personal data records, we implement the following measures:

  • Periodic review of personal data records
  • Checking the applicability of the data retention period with regard to business requirements, type of personal data, the purpose of processing and category of processing subjects.


5. Who will have access to your personal information?

We will ensure that your data is processed only in a manner that is consistent with the purpose stated above. If it is necessary to fulfil the stated purpose, authorized members of our Association will have access to your data. All the mentioned personal data are processed exclusively according to the instructions of PMI Croatia.

 

6. Where will my data be processed?

Your personal data will be processed within the countries that the European Commission has assessed as having an adequate level of protection (USA) by the processors listed under point 5, whose responsibility and obligation to protect personal data and maintain their confidentiality is defined by the contractual relationship and in accordance with all technical and organizational measures and legal regulations governing data protection. Your personal data will not be available to anyone who is not authorized to do so.

 

7. Server statistics

Our global network server uses statistical software. These programs are a standard feature of all Internet servers and are not unique to our sites. Such statistical programs allow us to adjust our pages so that they are as efficient and simple as possible for our visitors (determining the data that our users are most or least interested in, adjusting pages for individual Internet browsers, the effectiveness of the structure of our location and the number of visits to our pages.)

8. Use of cookies (Cookies)

To facilitate the browsing of our Internet pages, our global network server may use cookies. These are very small text files that the server places on the user's computer for the purpose of monitoring the selection of certain language variants of our pages, as well as when entering parts of the pages that require entering a username and password. 10. Minors

Our services are not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not collect personal data from children under the age of 16. If we discover that a child under the age of 16 has provided personal information, we will immediately delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you know that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary actions.

 

11. What rights do I have in relation to my personal data?

When it is legally provided, you have the right to information about the processing of your personal data, withdrawal of your consent at any time, correction or addition of your personal data so that they are always correct, deletion of your personal data when they are no longer needed for the above purposes, transfer of your personal data in a structured form, notification of any deletion, change or blocking of data to a third party to whom the data was disclosed, and submission of a complaint to PMI Croatia or the competent state authority.

We will keep your data for as long as it is necessary to achieve the purpose for which we process it.
