How to successfully introduce innovations and integrate them into projects in the age of digital transformation?

Innovating projects in the era of digital transformation means not just embracing new technology, but changing your mindset — turning every challenge into an opportunity to redefine what’s possible. As project managers, you have the power to foster a culture where innovation is not a risk to be avoided, but an imperative imposed on teams. Only then will innovation organically fit in and deliver real value. On the other hand, digital transformation is a marathon, not a sprint — continuous adaptation, learning, and collaboration are key to ensuring that innovation doesn’t just remain an idea, but translates into measurable results.

Supply Chain Reboot: How to lead a transformation project?

In today's business environment, changes occur day by day, which strongly affects the way supply chains function. In the past, the main goal of supply chain management was to reduce costs, while today the emphasis is on agility, flexibility and resilience.
Supply chain transformation involves strategic decisions, the application of technology and changes in organizational models. For such changes to succeed, good planning and a structured approach to project management are required. A supply chain transformation project should clearly define goals, a timeframe and responsible persons. Digitalization is one of the key steps in this transformation because it allows for real-time monitoring of goods and information. The implementation of artificial intelligence tools helps in forecasting demand, optimizing inventory and, in general, decision-making. Continuous process improvement concepts reduce errors and accelerate the flow of information in the chain.
Such projects are complex because they involve multiple partners who must cooperate in a synchronized manner. It is important to identify risks such as disruptions in procurement, incorrect demand forecasts or delays in distribution deliveries. Companies that invest in supply chain transformation become more competitive in the market. The aim of the workshop is to show how to lead such a change in a structured and efficient way.
Some examples of supply chain transformation are as follows:
  1. Implementation of an ERP system for supply chain management
  2. Digital supply chain transformation (For example, IoT and real-time monitoring)
  3. Inventory optimization and demand forecasting project (AI/ML)
  4. Nearshoring/Switching suppliers
  5. Green Supply Chain (CO₂ reduction in logistics)
The workshop uses a Beer Game simulation that shows the four members of the supply chain and their interdependence. Through this simulation, the consequences of poor coordination and lack of information are quickly observed. After the simulation, the participants will analyze the results and propose improvements. This will show how a well-managed transformation project can increase the agility of a company.

The power of peace – everyday and real life

In this practical workshop, we learn how to deal with stress through simple and effective methods from martial arts. Through breathing, mind-body exercises, and working with sticks and wooden swords, we restore focus, balance, and inner strength. We connect all techniques to the challenges of everyday and real life.

Digital transformation: is AI the solution for everything?

Managing projects in the era of digital transformation requires more than just knowledge of traditional methodologies. AI-based solutions are becoming a key driver of efficiency, risk reduction, and measurable value creation across industries. However, successful implementation is not just about technology – it’s about transforming business processes to fully meet customer needs faster, smarter, and at lower cost. This workshop introduces project managers to practical methods for integrating AI into business processes, drawing on proven Six Sigma approaches, PMO frameworks, and real-world examples of digital transformation. Participants will learn how to identify processes that need improvement, assess the cost-effectiveness of implementing AI solutions, and apply structured techniques to achieve sustainable results. The focus is on actionable knowledge and shared learning: how to design projects that combine AI capabilities with solid project management practices, ensuring process excellence and real organizational impact.
